For one multinational client, TRANSEARCH was selected to conduct its 12th search for this company during the past seven years. The mandate was to recruit and hire a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and drive business throughout the Americas. This hundred-year old company is a global leader in the design, engineering and construction sector. One key aspect of the role, this new COO would have to unify distinct business segments – previously operating in silos – into a cohesive, client-oriented enterprise.

As one of the country’s largest construction firms began working for a prominent tech company, TRANSEARCH was selected to recruit and hire a safety officer who would help steward the relationship.  The scope of construction work spanned multiple states across the U.S., and encompassed massive, complex project sites with hundreds of personnel each.  Not only is safety considered a core value of this construction firm, their customer holds safety in the same high regard.  As such, a proven safety leader was required who could implement best-in-class practices in the field, improve programmatic elements throughout the organization, and cultivate a highly engaged, productive relationship with the customer.

On August 7th, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released its July 2015 monthly findings, and the trend looks very positive for employment in construction and elsewhere in the economy. While there are still some areas of concern with diversity employment and with industries such as Mining, Oil & Gas (above 8%) – construction along with manufacturing and the rest of the economy seem to be back to where they were in 2009.

TRANSEARCH was retained by a multinational private equity firm to hire a Senior Investment Professional who would build a renewable energy portfolio spanning North America.  The firm had an enviable track record with real estate and infrastructure deals, as well as considerable expertise in public and private partnerships.  In order to capitalize on opportunities in the clean energy sector, as well as expand its presence in the United States, the firm sought to hire a proven investment executive to build a team and lead all related deal activity.  Moreover, this person had to possess the industry credibility to establish the firm as a strong player in the space, as well as the leadership caliber to manage a cross-country team.
