This website provides content and services for a professional and consumer audience and is not intended for individuals under the age of 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect or store personal data from anyone under 13 years old.

What information is collected

We collect data about you that is limited to the kind of information that can be found on a typical business card: first name, last name, job title, employer/company name, work address, work email and work phone number. In some cases, we may ask you to provide additional professional information, such as the size of the company you work for, and industry type.

To enhance and/or update any information provided, we may combine it with professional information or personal data collected from third-party sources. Personal data referred to in this document is the personal and professional information you provide, as well as information that we obtain from third-party sources, which are typically combined into one record.

This information assists us in improving our website, and we only use this information for statistical analysis purposes.

Data may be collected when you register to receive any of the content or services offered by TRANSEARCH or other occurrences such as publications, subscriptions, contests, newsletters, memberships, premium content, webcasts, video, white papers, online seminars, conferences, and events. TRANSEARCH, will collect and use information acquired from professional recruiting sites, resumes and/or business-oriented social networking sites about you in a way that is consistent with our responsibilities and your rights under The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679. Primarily, TRANSEARCH’s offered services are executive search and leadership services for executive-level positions in our clients’ organizations.

What happens if you don’t provide personal data or choose not to consent to sharing personal data?

For us to provide requested content or services, your personal data is required. You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to TRANSEARCH however, if you do not consent to TRANSEARCH storing your personal data or setting up a personal registration for you, we are unable to process your information without receipt of consent to process and store your personal information.

Where permitted by law, data may be shared between TRANSEARCH and its subsidiaries and associates in order to provide you with relevant content, and for internal analytical and business development purposes.

How do we safeguard your personal data?

Data Security

TRANSEARCH is committed to GDPR and data security. We recognize that information is a vital asset to any organization and take our responsibilities under the GDPR seriously. We will comply with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 in the way we use and share your personal data. Among other things, this means that we will only use your personal data:

Your data may be stored using TRANSEARCH’s own secure on-site servers or other internally hosted technology. Your data may also be stored by third-parties via cloud services or other technology, with whom TRANSEARCH has contracted with, to support our business operations (see “Sharing your information with others” below).

These third parties do not have access to or permission to use your personal data other than for cloud storage and retrieval, and TRANSEARCH requires such parties to employ at least the same level of security that we use to protect your personal data (see “Data Security” above).

Notification of Breaches

We are aware of our responsibility as a data controller to protect your information and to only share details with third parties upon receipt of your explicit consent. All of our systems are protected, and only TRANSEARCH staff and consultants working for TRANSEARCH have access to the personal information stored within our systems.
In the unlikely event that our computer systems are compromised, and there is a potential loss of confidentiality, we will report this breach to you.

In the unlikely event that personal data is taken or exposed from TRANSEARCH records without our consent, we will provide reports surrounding that exposure within 72 hours of being notified of such an event and take any action necessary to restore the security of your personal data.

What we do with the personal data we collect

We use the personal data that we collect to correspond with you, consider you for professional opportunities, action your requests, improve the services we provide, and present relevant information and services.

If you are an EU resident, we will only share your personal data with third parties outside of TRANSEARCH, with your consent or based on entering contract or contracts.

International Data Transfers

How long we keep your personal data

We retain your personal data for the duration of your business relationship with us, and we hold your information only as long as necessary for each purpose we use it, unless we have obtained your consent to use for another or similar purpose.
