This company is a diversified manufacturer of heavy equipment, active in 150 countries with more than 50,000 employees worldwide. It is positioned as one of three leading global suppliers of turbomachinery in the energy, marine, and transportation sectors. As revenue in North America approached $500 million, the organization required a proven executive who could bridge tactical leadership of a best-in-class program, with the strategic mindset of human resources as a driver of business growth.

The process had to move swiftly and present several impressive candidates in time for a European leadership committee visiting the States. After targeting executives across 75 relevant companies, a short-list of seven candidates was considered and from it a finalist was selected. This individual has more than 20 years of experience in immediate and adjacent industries, as well as a track record of managing large teams over sizeable revenue numbers.
