Due to steady growth across industrial markets, TRANSEARCH was retained by a leading design-build (EPC) firm to recruit a Vice President for its half-billion dollar division. At the outset, TRANSEARCH conducted a Talent Scouting project which identified over 500 individuals at companies ideal for our client. The Talent Scouting report allowed our client to discreetly make direct contact with dozens of industry leaders, which also resulted in an uptick of business development leads.

Completing hundreds of projects each year for some of the consumer industry’s biggest players, this organization provides a wide variety of technical services across a diverse range of turn-key production facility solutions. Due to the complex nature of customer needs and the global scope of those businesses, our client required a Vice President who could align and integrate all facets of their capabilities to present a holistic service offering. The new executive would effectively re-engineer how the company approached project delivery, as well as the strategy for developing a portfolio of increasingly sophisticated customers.

During the search, TRANSEARCH considered industry-leading talent from two spheres: direct competitors (contractors and engineers) as well as food/ beverage producers and consumer product manufacturers. Given the highly competitive pool of talent, compensation was an important factor. We were able to identify a number of impressive candidates, including four diversity candidates. The candidate selected for the role was plucked from one of the largest food-processing companies in the world. In order to engage the best candidates, and ultimately hire the strongest individual, we assisted with relocation details and are in the process of integrating the new Vice President into our client’s organization.
