The mandate was finding a Vice President to lead multiple offices in the Florida region. The company had recently been purchased by a multi-billion dollar global solutions provider, which sparked a need for this new executive. This client was looking for an operations leader who could make an impact on the organization’s business development efforts and culture. One of the initiatives following this acquisition was to increase market share, which made business development experience a critical factor in choosing this new executive. In conjunction with business development experience, this client’s field of engineering is very specific and required a strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering as well as materials testing relative to the Florida region.

Through national outreach, TRANSEARCH approached candidates from the client’s competitors and related leading organizations, who possessed the business acumen, leadership, and technical expertise required. After interviewing eight short-list candidates, one individual exhibited a strong match and was selected as the finalist. This individual demonstrated all qualifications as requested by the client as well as exemplary personality traits as shown in their Hogan personality assessment.
