Frequently Asked Questions

The FAQs are designed to provide you with quick, clear, and comprehensive answers to some of the most common questions. Our aim is to ensure that your experience with TRANSEARCH is as smooth and efficient as possible.

If you aren't finding the answer you are looking for, please reach out to our team.

What happens if a placed TRANSEARCH candidate doesn't work out?

If a TRANSEARCH placement fails to work through the guarantee period of the search assignment, TRANSEARCH will replace the individual, giving the client full credit for the placement fee already collected. TRANSEARCH works as a partner to its clients.

We work very hard to recruit the right people based on Culture, Team, Leadership, and Performance metrics. We provide an integration process that ensures the candidate succeeds in their new role. However, sometimes, despite best intentions, employees' circumstances change, and they are recruited away or find that the position isn't what they thought.

At TRANSEARCH, we don't quibble; we go to work to find the right person for your role.

How do you handle diversity and inclusion in your search process?

First of all, every member of our staff believes that a diverse workforce is a stronger workforce, or they do not work with us. We consider every client placement an opportunity to improve our client’s business.

We believe in one thing: the best person wins the job in a competitive process, regardless of race, ideology, or background. Competition generally makes us all better and ensures the highest-caliber decisions. We only work with companies that agree to our EEOC statement and, in practice, make talent-based decisions.

What is the best follow-up process after a candidate is placed to ensure the candidate will be successful?

At TRANSEARCH, we use the “Without Breaking Stride” integration process to ensure that the new candidate effectively transitions to the new firm. This process is supported by a workbook that helps candidates and employers understand the challenges of bringing a new employee on board.

The process is often bolstered by a Hogan Assessment or other client-provided personality tools. Through a series of regular meetings, TRANSEARCH helps its candidates find their footing at the new company.

What is the best way to handle confidentiality throughout the search process?

Each search assignment is unique, and the drivers behind the need are also essential for TRANSEARCH to understand. We have had CEO assignments that we can't disclose even after the search is completed, and we have other assignments where our clients want us to make some noise in the market.

We always start with the question: Who can and can't know some or all of the details behind the assignment? The strength of our reputation drives our ability to gain candidates' trust and participation in the assignment. When necessary, we keep our clients cloaked in secrecy until they decide they are ready to disclose and to which specific candidates.

What is the Orxestra® Method?

The Orxestra® tools provide a unique perspective on culture, performance, leadership, and team ‘fit’ and help new leaders integrate quickly and successfully.

On the surface, Orxestra® is a diverse series of idea statements used to construct the target scorecard. On a deeper level, it enables our teams to evaluate talent in a meaningful way that’s directly linked to your organization’s personality.

The results have been dramatic – better shortlists, highly engaged candidates, stronger chemistry during interviews, and seamless onboarding. Orxestra® not only significantly reduces the risk of a mis-hire, but leaders screened using our methodology tend to have longer and more successful careers than those hired through a traditional process.

We have a strong recruiting team; why would we want to talk to an outside firm?

Leveraging a strong internal recruiting team makes sense, but engaging with an external firm like TRANSEARCH offers distinct advantages. Our firm collaborates with numerous clients and boasts high-performing recruiting teams similar to yours.

By partnering with us, you gain the strategic advantage of discreetly recruiting talent directly from competitors, ensuring utmost confidentiality throughout the search process. This approach empowers your organization to access top-tier candidates that may not be reachable through traditional means, giving you an edge in securing the best talent for your team.

How do you find the right candidate when we are inundated with resumes?

We possess an extensive network of industry contacts cultivated over 25+ years of recruiting top-tier leaders, giving us unparalleled access to exceptional talent. Our state-of-the-art sourcing and research methods and tools enable us to efficiently navigate the influx of resumes and identify the right candidate swiftly and effectively.

This combination of expertise and resources empowers us to deliver results amidst the overwhelming volume of resumes, ensuring you connect with the ideal candidates to drive your organization's success.
