About this role

Our client is looking for the face of the K-12 Practice in Indiana. We are looking for a person passionate about learning environments and who is also ready for the next step in their career. The selected leader will be responsible for promoting the corporate vision, leading high-quality project delivery, and inspiring the design team. We are seeking an individual who can ensure customer satisfaction while meeting budgets and delivering on the organization's profitability goals.  

It is critical we find an individual with exceptional communication skills and the ability to listen thoughtfully to clients and build networks with school boards, superintendents, and educators. The professional we seek must have had a successful track record of project outcomes in terms of client satisfaction and company profits. Although a team effort, this person will be responsible for winning and delivering profitable K-12 projects.

Strategic Responsibility
  • Marketing efforts with school districts across the state and around the country.  
  • Maintenance and expansion of client relationships. 
  • Staff development through shared of knowledge base and day-to-day interactions. 
  • Project oversight and participation in the firm's standards and practices improvement program. 
  • Direction of project personnel to ensure success with project budgets and schedules.
  • Resolve design issues on critical technical questions and provide technical mentorship. 
  • Leads Project and Client Relationships. 
Preferred Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited architectural or engineering program or equivalent. 
  • Ten+ years relevant experience.
  • Registered Architect or Engineer.
  • Ability to make design decisions and willingness to consider new construction technologies with the capability to research new methods and techniques. 
  • The ability to communicate to professionals, staff, and clients the design goals of a project.
  • Good comprehension of AutoCAD, Revit, Word, and Excel desirable.
